And the beat goes. President Obama has heard the voice of the American people telling him NO to his big spending health care agenda and he has heard this voice loud and clear, and yet he persists. Why? Does anyone know? It is obvious that he feels that once congress has done all it can to pass bills for health care reform, cap & trade, and hopefully sign and ratify that UN treaty in Cancun, Mexico later this year, he will have no further use for congress. Once these job, small business and industry busting bills become law, Obama's czardom will take over. Goodbye congress.
On the other hand, maybe the president thinks that ram & jam and damn the elections because ol' Andy Stern ('power of persuasion or persuasion of power' advocate), SEIU, ACORN, Black Panthers and the like will control the elections. Maybe my town of Fort Wayne, Indiana can be a test run for Andy Stern and his thugs (and not to say all union members are thugs....I've been in operation management for too many years to believe that).... we have some pretty good self defense laws in Indiana that apologizes to the red states in the nation for turning blue last election. It won't happen again. So, is he arrogant, assured that the fix is in?
Why is Obama so insistent on this legislation when he knows economically it will destroy the nation? Why does Obama seem intent on waving his fist under our landlord's nose while he purports to concern himself with the likes of the Tibetan or Taiwanese people? Is he looking for the Chinese Yuan to take center stage?
Does George Soros have his investments tied up in the Chinese economy...bet he does!
Okay, now answers...Obama could care less about your health. Obama could care less about the sovereign Republic of America. The barely visible main theme of Obama's drive to continue to ensure that America is forever a debtor nation with a broken economy, is population control. Obama will follow the UN recommendations as spelled out in it's Habitat Agenda 21, the role that developed nations must play in the redistribution of wealth to underdeveloped nations in the world. Obama will oblige up to 2.4% of our GDP for 2010 and all future years....even as the economy spirals out of control.
Every provision in the the UN's Habitat Agenda describes programs and sprinkles the word 'sustainability' liberally throughout.....here is what they consider to be sustainable under any program. A couple of quotes from Obama's lefty friends:

Finally, from the late and not so great, Jacques Cousteau: "In order to stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day. It is a horrible thing to say but it is just as horrible not to say it."
Healthcare bill needs to have the hook to ultimately drive all people into the system (system can be any shape or size including insurance pools) controlled by the economy minded U.S. Health Preventive Service which received their authority and funding under the Stimulus Bill that no one bothered to read. Ol' Ezekiel Emmanuel's recommendations for an economic bases medical delivery system will take effect when the shee herded into the 'plan', whatever shape that takes. We all saw smelled some of their ideas when in their zeal, before they even had the herded masses under their control, when the board suggest later and reduced number of mammograms for breast cancer and for later and reduced prostrate screenings..... Trial lawyers will eventually get most people into the public plan as insurance companies go bust under medical malpractice suits...but remember, you cannot sue the government plan....
Zeke Emmanuel is Rahm's bioethicist brother and trust me or do your own research....if you are about to have a baby with issues that will may be with the child for life (such as autism)....first they will insist you abort it...if not, you will not find medical assistance under this plan. People like me, who have worked for 45 years under mandates to contribute to social security and medicare will also find those knee replacements, hip replacements, stents etc...in short supply and very expensive...and again not covered by Zeke's recommendations because you will have outlived your usefulness to society.....You don't want to be a drain on the common good now, do you? Rahm would probably classify you a 'retard' for making assumptions about America caring for you.
Cap & Trade is a no brainer. Obama is still trying to foist this upon us even though all the climategate liars have come out now and confessed the conspiracy since the 1960s to gain control over the American Republic through a 'green emergency'. Didn't work out that way for Obama but you notice....he is still pursuing his agenda (21). Obama does not mind handing over a broken down republic to the world as long as he can be King of the World. Kind of like, Jeremiah the Bullfrog and we have already heard too much about what he would do if he were king of the world...
Here is the thing, President Obama...Your puny fist in the face of God as you try to break the Republic which stands as One Nation Under God, is an affront to all real Christians walking the earth today. All people, everywhere, instinctively know that America was established as that place in the world in which freedom should reign, where they know that if they can get here, they can make it here. People around the world that despise freedom of course would see us fall as that last beacon of hope for the world.
You should know this Mister President, since you claimed once, and I heard you, to be a christian that in order to be a christian one must be born again in the spirit just like Jesus commanded of the old pharisee, Nicodemus, in John 3:3 and emphasized again in John 3:7 "Marvel not that I tell ye, ye must be born again."
The number of people who have actually been born again among all who call themselves christian is a relatively small percentage because most have not been born again in the spirit....so you might think that numbers are on your side.
Mr. President, each and every person that is born again is indwelt by God's Holy Spirit. Another name for God's Holy Spirit is the 'restrainer'. Until the time, and I believe it to be relatively soon as we do not need to see additional prophesy for this to take place, the born again Christians are raptured, their indwelling Holy Spirit will restrain you from being just as bad as you want to be. Slow down....you are going to have to wait for us to leave.
As for this moment however, Mr. President, we are still here and we have that power to 'bind' and 'loose'...and surely your Christian training taught you all about that....
It is simple, Mr. President...forces that were previously restrained from shaking the earth are now loosed....those shakings we have seen recently is indeed evidence of that fact....the only question now remains Mr. President, is whether you want them to continue and become more severe or will you relinquish your assault on my Republic? You are proving to be inadequate to cope with world events let alone with what is best for real Americans. Forces that seek to destroy the health of democrats and their families have been loosed....even as they ponder legislation to force tax payers to pay for the infanticide in this country. Those who offer their children to the pagan god Molech and those who stand by and say nothing are equally quilty under the law. And under Christianity...well Christian women wouldn't kill the life within them, would they? They know their bodies are not their own, that they have been bought with a price....on Calvary, don't they?
Pay attention Mr. President when God speaks and he is speaking loudly right now. You can represent a nation that is the light of the world or you can continue the destruction of a nation that has become known for it's export of porn, abortions and alternative lifestyles the world over.
Do you want to slow down the destruction of the planet earth Mr President? Really? Then I would adamantly suggest that you fall on your knees and pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to forgive you and then seek God's guidance for our nation. Other than that, Mr. President....
Expect more of the same with some twists...earth quakes in the Pacific rim are too good to waste...like Rahm Emmanuel likes to say about not wasting good emergencies....what if now, Mr. President, that, oh crap, you found out that that deep, deep 8.8 seemingly harmless earthquake in Chile served to awaken some beasts lurking across the Pacific...the beasts known as the Ring of Fire? Could these volcanoes be the source of the sun going black in the sky and the moon blood red...or vice versa....I get those verses mixed up?
Callous you say....believers who die in a catastrophe will ultimately be joined with Jesus Christ in the new earth to come, non-believers who die are 'condemned already' because they have not believed on the name of Jesus Christ. Everyone has been asked if they care to be saved and all are free spirits under the law.
Good thing about Christianity...no one gets forced to do anything...exercise your free will as you see fit.

Put the Whale Down!
I love animals...some inspire me....some amuse me....some scare me....all deserve respect from true stewards of God's creations....capturing these Orca mammals and subjecting them to these small enclosures for the amusement of paying customers is crazy to start with.
Still and all this particular whale killed 3 people and Tilli's creator says she should die. I will give it to you in His words and let you decide but your decision if it is different from God's will of course, be wrong....
"And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. Genesis 9: 1-6 tells you alot. After the Great Flood, Noah was told by God the degree to which He, God, regards mankind. Even the angels are surprised at the depth to which God loves his human creation. The verses above say we should put that unfortunate captive orca down. And quit capturing them....
The verses above tell you also that man is made in God's own image and that capital punishment is indeed designed for those who would shed man's blood. The verses also tell you that God created the fowl, the beasts, the fish and mankind and that all of the foregoing were made for mankind...that sort of blows holes in PETA's arguements.
Of course, most of you probably do not care what God has to say about it.....mmm, mmm, mm.

Who's In Charge of that there Climate Anyway?

Your climate is in God's control...Al Gore is powerless to do anything about or even call God's next move. I do know enough about God's Word to know that it never changes, is true and can be called into play by Christians will just the faith of a little, tiny mustard seed. I suspect some Christians have agreed with me in prayer to teach progressives all their is to know about who controls the climate.....oh yeah.....I think we have another one of those agreements about health...any dems die lately...Lautenberg, Kennedy, who else...
Among people in politics who despise Jesus Christ I would imagine there are those with those old family fears about cancer or heart disease running rampant among your extended families. If you know Jesus, know that you will go see trials but He will be there to see you through it....if you are a dem that stands on platform planks that includes murdering babies in the womb....you may have trouble explaining why your health fears should not be realized....
March 30th is the first day of Passover....I imagine I could be in Washington, DC on that day and that weekend to see if we can't muster up some agree on a plague of grasshoppers, locusts or some such pest....should be nearly Cherry Blossom Time...the capitol mall will be lovely...
I will see if I can muster up some support on Facebook...man, March 30th, August 28th, ....from Indiana...that is quite a round trip for a day or two here and there....oh well...we do want our country back right?

Can you cope? You can if you understand Romans 10:8-10...and know God reads hearts....so it is between you and Him. Other than that Revelations 16:2 will be so appropriate for Obama-ites.

Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Atheism....Talk About An Elephant in the Room!
Some of you people out there including me from time to time want to blame the various intelligence gathering organizations in America, for what you perceive as their inability to connect the dots. And yet, most of you cannot connect the dots between Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Atheism.
As I am a Christian myself, born of my mama in 1947, and born of God's Holy Spirit in 1978, I will reserve my keenest judgement for those purporting to be Christian and yet unable to connect these dots themselves...
Okay, let us start with what they have in common. God for three and one as an anti-God. Really all four have God in common as all their destiny's are as dictated in his freely given salvaton plan. In that sense they fall into two groups, with one group already having a God-given proviso. Obviously, all also have their respective creation in common also. The potential to belong to one or either of the two groups is your call as it depends on how you receive God's Word on the subject. As found in the gospel of John, chapter 3 and verse 18, let me cite: "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" . (Psst...that Son of God personage...that be Jesus).
There are your two groups...believers and non-believers. All have the potential while they draw fresh air to join that small group of believers (I keep saying small group because the gates to paradise are strait and narrow and few ever find it). Some will, some won't. I am not here to doing anything but point to that potential to be fair (that old Marine part of me, 1964-73, grabs my tongue sometimes), I am not here to wail on behalf of any non-believers and I believe they will do enough of that 'wailing and gnashing' on their own, later. Let me explain the aforementioned proviso as well as firmly placing all four groups where they belong as either believers or non-believers.
The Jew is the recipient of the aforementioned proviso as the Jew is God's chosen people. The Jew has seen God allow their temple to be destroyed twice before and their ancestors taken in captivity, spread across the globe, subjected to atrocities that no other race has ever been subjected to across the world including the Holocaust. Yet today....many are still unbowed and some still have their golden calves.
God's perogative, allowed him to see past the sins of King David, when David thought it was cool to kill one of his subjects and take his wife, God still declared David as 'much loved.' David was not, however, permitted to honor God and build the temple...that was left to his son, Solomon.
God's perogative is allowing him to see past the stiff neck of still too many of his people and to see them gathered back into the land covenanted to them by Himself....yes, it is God's land. The proviso that puts many Jews firmly into that place where they share the same result as the Christian is that when Jesus does appear finally, they will believe and they will be saved. Those Jews who lived before Christ, who had the law of Moses upon their hearts, will grow meat, sinew and muscle to their otherwise dead, old, bones and walk the earth in that day, once again.
Okay, Jews are in. Christians (or should I say Gentiles), are in if they are born again in the spirit exactly like Jesus told that old pharisee Nicodemus when he came to visit Jesus in the dead of night...John 3:3 is where you find that and for emphasis, read the emphasis Jesus put on that command in John 3:7....Marvel not! Christians, are not in, if all they ever did was get dragged to church and Sunday school all their lives and then recant a whole bunch of rote, meaningless gibberish and participate in what some like Catholics would call sacraments in the same way they say their rosaries...rote memory without heartfelt acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and only God can read the hearts of men.
Like I said earlier, we are all born with free choice and it is simply time to poop or get off the pot. Lukewarmers, that includes you...unless you want to be spewed! I have known a few saved religionists and in fact I've known Catholics that are not only saved but charismatic as well, and even...pentecostal.....ooooh! Scary, huh! I have also known Jews who, without seeing Jesus face to face, have accepted him as their saviour. We call these Messianic Jews.
Muslims are not in because they do not believe in Jesus as the Son of God and indeed, consider him even a lesser prophet than their own Mohammed. They do not deny this. They do not have the proviso because that is only for the Jew. Both the Jew and the Muslim started with Abraham but the muslim came out of Abraham's disobedience to God. When God told Abraham to take Sarah his wife and have a son Abraham was okay with that but then he told Sarah. Sarah said, you are absolutely nuts...we are both over 100 years old, why don't you take Hagar, my handmaiden instead.....and Abraham did and Hagar begat the illegitimate son of Abraham, Ishmael, the father of today's muslim or edomite, if you will. As you read about the only land covenant provided to any people by God, know that God made that covenant with Abraham, confirmed it with his son Isaac (Abraham finally got it right), and then confirmed it again with Isaac's son Jacob. Can the muslim be in?.....sure, if he/she believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. That would require a conversion of faith but at least it wouldn't cost you your head at least not by Christians.
That brings us to the atheist. Communists, self-ascribed atheists, are all part of the scenario that has to be considered as we begin to connect those dots mentioned earlier. Your president is one of them.....I believe him to be in the very least a progressive, intent on using the Clower and Piven strategy to overload our American systems to destroy them.....and he is doing a pretty good job of it. Read all about the UN Habitat Agenda 21...oh heck, ought to look up that nasty club of Rome with George Soros and the like....
If they have pulled any of that stuff off line...let me know, I will repost it, while it is still legal.
That he is a progressive, probably a socialist is the least he could be, the worst he could be would be the anti-Christ....and no one can tell me otherwise....because no one knows exactly who the hell he is....like the play on words...hell? Timing is right. Israel is where she belongs. Netanyahu declares that Israel has realized fulfillment of prophecy as found in Ezekiel 37:21....

There are your dots people....everyone, all the end time actors, are in place. Most of you will read this and consider it hogwash....not for our time, you'll say. You know that we have always had wars, rumours of wars, pestilences etc., etc., etc., but Israel has only been Israel well for just a little less than a generation. Israel was reborn in 1948 and I was born in 1947 and I am getting old within my generation.
That refers to the fact that Jesus told his disciples to "Now learn a parable of the fig tree (hint: Israel is always that fig tree); When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." Talking about my generation....someone should make a song out of that...
Daniel was told by my favorite archangel, Michael, "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."
So as this information age increasingly adds to our knowledge we grow distinctly further and further away from the God who told us that our wisdom is as foolishness to him.....like those Obama kids say, 'mmm, mmm, mm'.
Stage is set for Obama to finish trashing the Republic of Amerika, get us into that one world monetary system, one world government and soon as we Christians leave....a one world religion. Christians can be raptured at any time....no more prophesy needs to be fulfilled for that to take place and in fact until we do leave....it can't get as bad as it is going to be because of that indwelling Holy Spirit of ours...He goes with us....some people know the Holy Spirit as the restrainer.
Stage is set for all the nations of the world to come against Israel. I have said it before, as soon as your president signs that revived Oslo Accord of 1993 (that 7 year deal) along with the rest of the gang of four, the UN, the EU and parts Israel to give some to the Palestinians, God will part America...literally, from West to East....oh yeah....dems still have bad weather elements coming as long as they pretend to rule the climate and oh yeah, their individual and family health care status is being bound to their decisions to foist that ugliness called Obamacare on America....think about that people...including Republican progressives.
We have had quite a winter, a few earth quakes here and there but watch all of this increase kind of like a woman in labor about to give birth.,...them labor pains get sharper and closer together....think Obama will know what to do? Watch that Pacific Rim 'Ring of Fire' jump to life....
Somewhere along the way and soon what with that nutcase Ahmadinejad in power over there in Iran (hey, did you know that in Farsi which is the Iranian language, Iran means Aryan? Yep, got it from Hitler during WWII...Iran was a big fan and Persia until then), watch Damascus get vaporized....Isaiah 17.1.....a "ruinous heap", mmm, mmm, mm. A pain in the butt to Israel of an evening and gone the next morning. Read the whole chapter it is a good read....watch when Obama and all the rest rush at Israel and how God chases them back with a whirlwind.....mmmm, mmmm, mm. Kind of wish I was going to be in on the action. Oh yeah, we will be.

God's perogative is allowing him to see past the stiff neck of still too many of his people and to see them gathered back into the land covenanted to them by Himself....yes, it is God's land. The proviso that puts many Jews firmly into that place where they share the same result as the Christian is that when Jesus does appear finally, they will believe and they will be saved. Those Jews who lived before Christ, who had the law of Moses upon their hearts, will grow meat, sinew and muscle to their otherwise dead, old, bones and walk the earth in that day, once again.
Okay, Jews are in. Christians (or should I say Gentiles), are in if they are born again in the spirit exactly like Jesus told that old pharisee Nicodemus when he came to visit Jesus in the dead of night...John 3:3 is where you find that and for emphasis, read the emphasis Jesus put on that command in John 3:7....Marvel not! Christians, are not in, if all they ever did was get dragged to church and Sunday school all their lives and then recant a whole bunch of rote, meaningless gibberish and participate in what some like Catholics would call sacraments in the same way they say their rosaries...rote memory without heartfelt acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and only God can read the hearts of men.
Like I said earlier, we are all born with free choice and it is simply time to poop or get off the pot. Lukewarmers, that includes you...unless you want to be spewed! I have known a few saved religionists and in fact I've known Catholics that are not only saved but charismatic as well, and even...pentecostal.....ooooh! Scary, huh! I have also known Jews who, without seeing Jesus face to face, have accepted him as their saviour. We call these Messianic Jews.
Muslims are not in because they do not believe in Jesus as the Son of God and indeed, consider him even a lesser prophet than their own Mohammed. They do not deny this. They do not have the proviso because that is only for the Jew. Both the Jew and the Muslim started with Abraham but the muslim came out of Abraham's disobedience to God. When God told Abraham to take Sarah his wife and have a son Abraham was okay with that but then he told Sarah. Sarah said, you are absolutely nuts...we are both over 100 years old, why don't you take Hagar, my handmaiden instead.....and Abraham did and Hagar begat the illegitimate son of Abraham, Ishmael, the father of today's muslim or edomite, if you will. As you read about the only land covenant provided to any people by God, know that God made that covenant with Abraham, confirmed it with his son Isaac (Abraham finally got it right), and then confirmed it again with Isaac's son Jacob. Can the muslim be in?.....sure, if he/she believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. That would require a conversion of faith but at least it wouldn't cost you your head at least not by Christians.
That brings us to the atheist. Communists, self-ascribed atheists, are all part of the scenario that has to be considered as we begin to connect those dots mentioned earlier. Your president is one of them.....I believe him to be in the very least a progressive, intent on using the Clower and Piven strategy to overload our American systems to destroy them.....and he is doing a pretty good job of it. Read all about the UN Habitat Agenda 21...oh heck, ought to look up that nasty club of Rome with George Soros and the like....

You know that we have always had wars, rumours of wars, pestilences etc., etc., etc., but Israel has only been Israel well for just a little less than a generation. Israel was reborn in 1948 and I was born in 1947 and I am getting old within my generation.

Christians can be raptured at any time....no more prophesy needs to be fulfilled for that to take place and in fact until we do leave....it can't get as bad as it is going to be because of that indwelling Holy Spirit of ours...He goes with us....some people know the Holy Spirit as the restrainer.
Stage is set for all the nations of the world to come against Israel. I have said it before, as soon as your president signs that revived Oslo Accord of 1993 (that 7 year deal) along with the rest of the gang of four, the UN, the EU and parts Israel to give some to the Palestinians, God will part America...literally, from West to East....oh yeah....dems still have bad weather elements coming as long as they pretend to rule the climate and oh yeah, their individual and family health care status is being bound to their decisions to foist that ugliness called Obamacare on America....think about that people...including Republican progressives.
We have had quite a winter, a few earth quakes here and there but watch all of this increase kind of like a woman in labor about to give birth.,...them labor pains get sharper and closer together....think Obama will know what to do? Watch that Pacific Rim 'Ring of Fire' jump to life....
Somewhere along the way and soon what with that nutcase Ahmadinejad in power over there in Iran (hey, did you know that in Farsi which is the Iranian language, Iran means Aryan? Yep, got it from Hitler during WWII...Iran was a big fan and Persia until then), watch Damascus get vaporized....Isaiah 17.1.....a "ruinous heap", mmm, mmm, mm. A pain in the butt to Israel of an evening and gone the next morning. Read the whole chapter it is a good read....watch when Obama and all the rest rush at Israel and how God chases them back with a whirlwind.....mmmm, mmmm, mm. Kind of wish I was going to be in on the action. Oh yeah, we will be.
People, I speak light at times but all need to give this situation the gravity it deserves. This will indeed all come to pass and soon but can it be forestalled....don't know unless you ask....Pray!
Every student of prophesy knows the situation we are in....all the major players are in their rightful place and even the United States which has no place (sorry, no hero place) in scripture as a power must fall just as she is....her decline parallels yours..... Evil mother Russia, that old King of the North has her orders, can Magog be far behind? Kings of the East, China and that nasty confederation of 57 Islamic states (that is where Obama gets that 57 from when he counts the United States) are ready to roll...just ask Ahmadinejad or our landlord in China when Obama stiffs him on those T-note interest payments. It’s good to be home, but upon landing I learned that Ahmadinejad is threatening to unleash a “harsh blow” to the Judeo-Christian world on February 11th. No one’s sure what he means exactly, but the U.S. is moving new naval forces and Patriot missile batteries into the Gulf region, just in case.
A few highlights from the past few days:
* Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week traveled to to Poland to commemorate the 65th anniversary of liberation of Auschwitz. Speaking on the actual site of the Nazi death camp, the Prime Minister warned the world of new genocidal threats against the Jewish people and the importance of acting early enough to prevent such threats from coming to pass. In a stunning and remarkable moment, Netanyahu also declared to the people of Europe and the world that the prophecies of Ezekiel 37 have been fulfilled. The Holocaust, he said, represented the “dry bones” and “graves” of the Jewish people, and out of that horror the State of Israel was resurrected, just as the Lord said would happen through the Hebrew Prophet Ezekiel. Rarely has any world leader given a major address on an international stage declaring End Times prophecies from the Bible have come true. But that is exactly what Netanyahu did. * On Saturday, I addressed the Break Forth conference of evangelical Christians in Edmonton, Canada, following Robin Mark singing his powerful worship song about the “days of Elijah” and the “days of Ezekiel.” Quoting from Netanyahu’s speech, I asked, “If the prophecies of Ezekiel 37 have come true in our lifetime, isn’t it remotely possible that the prophecies of Ezekiel 38 and 39 about the coming War of Gog and Magog — the anti-Israel alliance led by Russia and Iran — could come true in our lifetime, as well?” Teaching the two chapters verse by verse, I asked Canadian believers to truly “get ready and be prepared” to live lives of holiness and impact for Christ in these traumatic last days, to intensify their efforts to show Israel unconditional love and unwavering support, and to consider coming alongside The Joshua Fund as we seek to bless Israel and her neighbors in real and practical ways.
* Over the weekend, Lynn and I also had the honor of a private lunch with Anne Graham-Lotz, daughter of Billy Graham. Joining us was Anne’s daughter, Morrow, and our friends Tom and JoAnn Doyle. I’ve posted a few observations on the weblog, but let me just say Anne is a remarkable Bible teacher and passionate about preparing the Church for the return of Jesus Christ. She was born in May 1948, she told us, and is convinced that she is part of the “last generation” on earth, according to Matthew 24. We had a fascinating discussion about the state of the world at the moment, and the alarm bells that are going off indicating the return of Christ is drawing increasingly close.
* Meanwhile, The Joshua Fund team continues to get our new warehouse ready to begin relief operations and to stockpile food and critical supplies ahead of the next war. At the same time, we’re making preparations to provide food at Passover for hundreds of poor and needy Jewish families in Israel. We are also prayerfully working on doubling the number of food distribution centers in Israel that we’re helping operate from four to eight centers in the next few months. Please keep praying that the Lord would lead, guide and direct us for His glory. More details soon. God bless you.
Fact is, Christians have known the foregoing before Netanyahu said a word...we have redeemed the hour correctly and fully expect that the rapture of the saints will take place in our lifetime and indeed, no prophesy needs to be fulfilled prior to that happening....
1st Corinthians 15:51-52 speaks to the mystery of the rapture. The word rapture is not in the scripture but the description of what is to take place is...also a good reference to review when a whole bunch of people simply disappear is 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18.
If you want to be part of this 'raptured' crowd, read all about it in Romans 10:8-10...hey, look it up, you have to do some work to save your own butts....
Redeem the days wisely...time is indeed short....Iran is led by a nutcase with nuclear ambitions and only God and Mossad know the true state of Iran's readiness in using nuclear tipped weapons....read Isaiah 17 and know that this too is still in your near future....
Tell me then, should Obama crack down and maybe throw a naval blockade around Iran...that could forestall the inevitable.

Party of Hell No!
Before our nation's lawmakers convene on February 25th to talk about Obama's health care initiatives already rejected by the majority of the American people, democratic lawmakers are already preparing a package that they stand prepared to ram through as a matter of socialist/progressive agenda, health care measures that will create a brand new, but certainly not constitutionally guaranteed, right to health care for all citizens...and beyond, I am sure. This new right cannot be constitutionally guaranteed by Obama nor his legislature because they are simply not backed by God...no Obama is really not the Messiah...eh, maybe a junior one to some....and our constitutional rights, already in existence, are guaranteed by God.
People, honestly, you still have a constitutionally guaranteed right to try and fail and to try again until you succeed, or....like many have apparently chosen...you have the right to sit on your butts for several more generations with your hands out expecting someone else to take care of you and yours....Grow up America....you wouldn't work before Obama began his job/industry busting spree...which continues with his health care and crap & trade measures...
Conservative voices among WE THE PEOPLE have already spoken on this issue and incumbents would be wise to get close enough to this meeting of purported 'bi-partisan' wrangling to smell this rat out. And no closer.
Start entirely over or forget it...this is the message to all participants and to you democrats who are already preparing a rammable package...you will be ousted when your time is up and everything will be reversed by a conservative super majority thanks to your arrogance today....

If you’re reading this, you’re no doubt asking yourself, “Why did this have to happen?” The simple truth is that it is complicated and has been coming for a long time. The writing process, started many months ago, was intended to be therapy in the face of the looming realization that there isn’t enough therapy in the world that can fix what is really broken. Needless to say, this rant could fill volumes with example after example if I would let it. I find the process of writing it frustrating, tedious, and probably pointless… especially given my gross inability to gracefully articulate my thoughts in light of the storm raging in my head. Exactly what is therapeutic about that I’m not sure, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
We are all taught as children that without laws there would be no society, only anarchy. Sadly, starting at early ages we in this country have been brainwashed to believe that, in return for our dedication and service, our government stands for justice for all. We are further brainwashed to believe that there is freedom in this place, and that we should be ready to lay our lives down for the noble principals represented by its founding fathers. Remember? One of these was “no taxation without representation”. I have spent the total years of my adulthood unlearning that crap from only a few years of my childhood. These days anyone who really stands up for that principal is promptly labeled a “crackpot”, traitor and worse.
While very few working people would say they haven’t had their fair share of taxes (as can I), in my lifetime I can say with a great degree of certainty that there has never been a politician cast a vote on any matter with the likes of me or my interests in mind. Nor, for that matter, are they the least bit interested in me or anything I have to say.
Why is it that a handful of thugs and plunderers can commit unthinkable atrocities (and in the case of the GM executives, for scores of years) and when it’s time for their gravy train to crash under the weight of their gluttony and overwhelming stupidity, the force of the full federal government has no difficulty coming to their aid within days if not hours? Yet at the same time, the joke we call the American medical system, including the drug and insurance companies, are murdering tens of thousands of people a year and stealing from the corpses and victims they cripple, and this country’s leaders don’t see this as important as bailing out a few of their vile, rich cronies. Yet, the political “representatives” (thieves, liars, and self-serving scumbags is far more accurate) have endless time to sit around for year after year and debate the state of the “terrible health care problem”. It’s clear they see no crisis as long as the dead people don’t get in the way of their corporate profits rolling in.
And justice? You’ve got to be kidding!
How can any rational individual explain that white elephant conundrum in the middle of our tax system and, indeed, our entire legal system? Here we have a system that is, by far, too complicated for the brightest of the master scholars to understand. Yet, it mercilessly “holds accountable” its victims, claiming that they’re responsible for fully complying with laws not even the experts understand. The law “requires” a signature on the bottom of a tax filing; yet no one can say truthfully that they understand what they are signing; if that’s not “duress” than what is. If this is not the measure of a totalitarian regime, nothing is.
How did I get here?
My introduction to the real American nightmare starts back in the early ‘80s. Unfortunately after more than 16 years of school, somewhere along the line I picked up the absurd, pompous notion that I could read and understand plain English. Some friends introduced me to a group of people who were having ‘tax code’ readings and discussions. In particular, zeroed in on a section relating to the wonderful “exemptions” that make institutions like the vulgar, corrupt Catholic Church so incredibly wealthy. We carefully studied the law (with the help of some of the “best”, high-paid, experienced tax lawyers in the business), and then began to do exactly what the “big boys” were doing (except that we weren’t steeling from our congregation or lying to the government about our massive profits in the name of God). We took a great deal of care to make it all visible, following all of the rules, exactly the way the law said it was to be done.
The intent of this exercise and our efforts was to bring about a much-needed re-evaluation of the laws that allow the monsters of organized religion to make such a mockery of people who earn an honest living. However, this is where I learned that there are two “interpretations” for every law; one for the very rich, and one for the rest of us… Oh, and the monsters are the very ones making and enforcing the laws; the inquisition is still alive and well today in this country.
That little lesson in patriotism cost me $40,000+, 10 years of my life, and set my retirement plans back to 0. It made me realize for the first time that I live in a country with an ideology that is based on a total and complete lie. It also made me realize, not only how naive I had been, but also the incredible stupidity of the American public; that they buy, hook, line, and sinker, the crap about their “freedom”… and that they continue to do so with eyes closed in the face of overwhelming evidence and all that keeps happening in front of them.
Before even having to make a shaky recovery from the sting of the first lesson on what justice really means in this country (around 1984 after making my way through engineering school and still another five years of “paying my dues”), I felt I finally had to take a chance of launching my dream of becoming an independent engineer.
On the subjects of engineers and dreams of independence, I should digress somewhat to say that I’m sure that I inherited the fascination for creative problem solving from my father. I realized this at a very young age.
The significance of independence, however, came much later during my early years of college; at the age of 18 or 19 when I was living on my own as student in an apartment in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. My neighbor was an elderly retired woman (80+ seemed ancient to me at that age) who was the widowed wife of a retired steel worker. Her husband had worked all his life in the steel mills of central Pennsylvania with promises from big business and the union that, for his 30 years of service, he would have a pension and medical care to look forward to in his retirement. Instead he was one of the thousands who got nothing because the incompetent mill management and corrupt union (not to mention the government) raided their pension funds and stole their retirement. All she had was social security to live on.
In retrospect, the situation was laughable because here I was living on peanut butter and bread (or Ritz crackers when I could afford to splurge) for months at a time. When I got to know this poor figure and heard her story I felt worse for her plight than for my own (I, after all, I thought I had everything to in front of me). However, because the government caused it, no one gave a shit about all of the young families who lost their homes or street after street of boarded up houses abandoned to the wealthy loan companies who received government funds to “shore up” their windfall. Again, I lost my retirement.
Years later, after weathering a divorce and the constant struggle trying to build some momentum with my business, I find myself once again beginning to finally pick up some speed. Then came the .COM bust and the 911 nightmare. Our leaders decided that all aircraft were grounded for what seemed like an eternity; and long after that, ‘special’ facilities like San Francisco were on security alert for months. This made access to my customers prohibitively expensive. Ironically, after what they had done the Government came to the aid of the airlines with billions of our tax dollars … as usual they left me to rot and die while they bailed out their rich, incompetent cronies WITH MY MONEY! After these events, there went my business but not quite yet all of my retirement and savings.
By this time, I’m thinking that it might be good for a change. Bye to California, I’ll try Austin for a while. So I moved, only to find out that this is a place with a highly inflated sense of self-importance and where damn little real engineering work is done. I’ve never experienced such a hard time finding work. The rates are 1/3 of what I was earning before the crash, because pay rates here are fixed by the three or four large companies in the area who are in collusion to drive down prices and wages… and this happens because the justice department is all on the take and doesn’t give a fuck about serving anyone or anything but themselves and their rich buddies.
To survive, I was forced to cannibalize my savings and retirement, the last of which was a small IRA. This came in a year with mammoth expenses and not a single dollar of income. I filed no return that year thinking that because I didn’t have any income there was no need. The sleazy government decided that they disagreed. But they didn’t notify me in time for me to launch a legal objection so when I attempted to get a protest filed with the court I was told I was no longer entitled to due process because the time to file ran out. Bend over for another $10,000 helping of justice.
So now we come to the present. After my experience with the CPA world, following the business crash I swore that I’d never enter another accountant’s office again. But here I am with a new marriage and a boatload of undocumented income, not to mention an expensive new business asset, a piano, which I had no idea how to handle. After considerable thought I decided that it would be irresponsible NOT to get professional help; a very big mistake.
When we received the forms back I was very optimistic that they were in order. I had taken all of the years information to Bill Ross, and he came back with results very similar to what I was expecting. Except that he had neglected to include the contents of Sheryl’s unreported income; $12,700 worth of it. To make matters worse, Ross knew all along this was missing and I didn’t have a clue until he pointed it out in the middle of the audit. By that time it had become brutally evident that he was representing himself and not me.
This left me stuck in the middle of this disaster trying to defend transactions that have no relationship to anything tax-related (at least the tax-related transactions were poorly documented). Things I never knew anything about and things my wife had no clue would ever matter to anyone. The end result is… well, just look around.
I remember reading about the stock market crash before the “great” depression and how there were wealthy bankers and businessmen jumping out of windows when they realized they screwed up and lost everything. Isn’t it ironic how far we’ve come in 60 years in this country that they now know how to fix that little economic problem; they just steal from the middle class (who doesn’t have any say in it, elections are a joke) to cover their asses and it’s “business-as-usual”. Now when the wealthy fuck up, the poor get to die for the mistakes… isn’t that a clever, tidy solution.
As government agencies go, the FAA is often justifiably referred to as a tombstone agency, though they are hardly alone. The recent presidential puppet GW Bush and his cronies in their eight years certainly reinforced for all of us that this criticism rings equally true for all of the government. Nothing changes unless there is a body count (unless it is in the interest of the wealthy sows at the government trough). In a government full of hypocrites from top to bottom, life is as cheap as their lies and their self-serving laws.
I know I’m hardly the first one to decide I have had all I can stand. It has always been a myth that people have stopped dying for their freedom in this country, and it isn’t limited to the blacks, and poor immigrants. I know there have been countless before me and there are sure to be as many after. But I also know that by not adding my body to the count, I insure nothing will change. I choose to not keep looking over my shoulder at “big brother” while he strips my carcass, I choose not to ignore what is going on all around me, I choose not to pretend that business as usual won’t continue; I have just had enough.
I can only hope that the numbers quickly get too big to be white washed and ignored that the American zombies wake up and revolt; it will take nothing less. I would only hope that by striking a nerve that stimulates the inevitable double standard, knee-jerk government reaction that results in more stupid draconian restrictions people wake up and begin to see the pompous political thugs and their mindless minions for what they are. Sadly, though I spent my entire life trying to believe it wasn’t so, but violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer. The cruel joke is that the really big chunks of shit at the top have known this all along and have been laughing, at and using this awareness against, fools like me all along.
I saw it written once that the definition of insanity is repeating the same process over and over and expecting the outcome to suddenly be different. I am finally ready to stop this insanity. Well, Mr. Big Brother IRS man, let’s try something different; take my pound of flesh and sleep well.

If you’re reading this, you’re no doubt asking yourself, “Why did this have to happen?” The simple truth is that it is complicated and has been coming for a long time. The writing process, started many months ago, was intended to be therapy in the face of the looming realization that there isn’t enough therapy in the world that can fix what is really broken. Needless to say, this rant could fill volumes with example after example if I would let it. I find the process of writing it frustrating, tedious, and probably pointless… especially given my gross inability to gracefully articulate my thoughts in light of the storm raging in my head. Exactly what is therapeutic about that I’m not sure, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
We are all taught as children that without laws there would be no society, only anarchy. Sadly, starting at early ages we in this country have been brainwashed to believe that, in return for our dedication and service, our government stands for justice for all. We are further brainwashed to believe that there is freedom in this place, and that we should be ready to lay our lives down for the noble principals represented by its founding fathers. Remember? One of these was “no taxation without representation”. I have spent the total years of my adulthood unlearning that crap from only a few years of my childhood. These days anyone who really stands up for that principal is promptly labeled a “crackpot”, traitor and worse.
While very few working people would say they haven’t had their fair share of taxes (as can I), in my lifetime I can say with a great degree of certainty that there has never been a politician cast a vote on any matter with the likes of me or my interests in mind. Nor, for that matter, are they the least bit interested in me or anything I have to say.
Why is it that a handful of thugs and plunderers can commit unthinkable atrocities (and in the case of the GM executives, for scores of years) and when it’s time for their gravy train to crash under the weight of their gluttony and overwhelming stupidity, the force of the full federal government has no difficulty coming to their aid within days if not hours? Yet at the same time, the joke we call the American medical system, including the drug and insurance companies, are murdering tens of thousands of people a year and stealing from the corpses and victims they cripple, and this country’s leaders don’t see this as important as bailing out a few of their vile, rich cronies. Yet, the political “representatives” (thieves, liars, and self-serving scumbags is far more accurate) have endless time to sit around for year after year and debate the state of the “terrible health care problem”. It’s clear they see no crisis as long as the dead people don’t get in the way of their corporate profits rolling in.
And justice? You’ve got to be kidding!
How can any rational individual explain that white elephant conundrum in the middle of our tax system and, indeed, our entire legal system? Here we have a system that is, by far, too complicated for the brightest of the master scholars to understand. Yet, it mercilessly “holds accountable” its victims, claiming that they’re responsible for fully complying with laws not even the experts understand. The law “requires” a signature on the bottom of a tax filing; yet no one can say truthfully that they understand what they are signing; if that’s not “duress” than what is. If this is not the measure of a totalitarian regime, nothing is.
How did I get here?
My introduction to the real American nightmare starts back in the early ‘80s. Unfortunately after more than 16 years of school, somewhere along the line I picked up the absurd, pompous notion that I could read and understand plain English. Some friends introduced me to a group of people who were having ‘tax code’ readings and discussions. In particular, zeroed in on a section relating to the wonderful “exemptions” that make institutions like the vulgar, corrupt Catholic Church so incredibly wealthy. We carefully studied the law (with the help of some of the “best”, high-paid, experienced tax lawyers in the business), and then began to do exactly what the “big boys” were doing (except that we weren’t steeling from our congregation or lying to the government about our massive profits in the name of God). We took a great deal of care to make it all visible, following all of the rules, exactly the way the law said it was to be done.
The intent of this exercise and our efforts was to bring about a much-needed re-evaluation of the laws that allow the monsters of organized religion to make such a mockery of people who earn an honest living. However, this is where I learned that there are two “interpretations” for every law; one for the very rich, and one for the rest of us… Oh, and the monsters are the very ones making and enforcing the laws; the inquisition is still alive and well today in this country.
That little lesson in patriotism cost me $40,000+, 10 years of my life, and set my retirement plans back to 0. It made me realize for the first time that I live in a country with an ideology that is based on a total and complete lie. It also made me realize, not only how naive I had been, but also the incredible stupidity of the American public; that they buy, hook, line, and sinker, the crap about their “freedom”… and that they continue to do so with eyes closed in the face of overwhelming evidence and all that keeps happening in front of them.
Before even having to make a shaky recovery from the sting of the first lesson on what justice really means in this country (around 1984 after making my way through engineering school and still another five years of “paying my dues”), I felt I finally had to take a chance of launching my dream of becoming an independent engineer.
On the subjects of engineers and dreams of independence, I should digress somewhat to say that I’m sure that I inherited the fascination for creative problem solving from my father. I realized this at a very young age.
The significance of independence, however, came much later during my early years of college; at the age of 18 or 19 when I was living on my own as student in an apartment in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. My neighbor was an elderly retired woman (80+ seemed ancient to me at that age) who was the widowed wife of a retired steel worker. Her husband had worked all his life in the steel mills of central Pennsylvania with promises from big business and the union that, for his 30 years of service, he would have a pension and medical care to look forward to in his retirement. Instead he was one of the thousands who got nothing because the incompetent mill management and corrupt union (not to mention the government) raided their pension funds and stole their retirement. All she had was social security to live on.

Hoosier Patriot: No to Kings, Princes, Dukes and Barons
First, to Barack Obama, in case you forgot from September 12th, last, we own that 'Dome'. Oh yeah, I forgot, you flew away to talk to those of your ilk in Minnesota, what about 12,000 total? We will be back in DC this spring and summer a couple more times in 2010 to remind you. Just waiting for that harbinger of global warming, snow, snow and more snow, to melt....oh wait....been getting cooler for the past 15 years.....Mr. President, don't you just hate it when so called scientists lie to you and then spill their guts later and cut your legs out from under you?
You can drop that charade, Mr. President....
Now, to Baron Hill.....you are some kind of a froot loop if you truly think you own that town hall in which you ripped those IU journalism students. My jaw dropped when I heard you spew that idiocy that it was 'your town hall' and you would set the guide lines and you would not be told what to do in congress'....ssshhhh!, that was a really dumb thing to say to tax payers, first off, who vote, who buy town halls for cities and offices for congress and all of that under the Dome owned by WE THE PEOPLE! Oh yeah, I forgot, I am an IU graduate too and so is another of my daughters. Mr. Hill, as I deem to view you...you should consider that a promotion back to a place where your feet are on the ground, mister; just what planet do you believe you reside on? Please tell me that you are not just one more of those dreaded progressive 'elitists'.
By and large, us hoosiers are conservative...even Evan Bayh who just quit over a 'corrupt' senate and the congress as a (w)hole...was the leader of the moderate 'blue dog democrats'who preached fiscal responsibility. Trouble with Evan was that he was sincere and could see the drive toward socialism this congress is engineering for Barack Obama, and to his credit, could not stomach being part of it anymore.
Evan Bayh hated it when he had to be the 60th vote for Harry Reid such as when the Senate passed their version of Obamacare and when they just raised the debt ceiling by another 1.9 trillion....whatever the hell that number means besides Republic busting.... If Evan Bayh would exclude any support for the main plank of the democratic party-'abortion', then I would certainly tell Evan Bayh..."God bless you in your future endeavors". But for now, wish you would dedicate the rest of your time in the Senate to helping to right an overturned ship...

Now, to Baron Hill.....you are some kind of a froot loop if you truly think you own that town hall in which you ripped those IU journalism students. My jaw dropped when I heard you spew that idiocy that it was 'your town hall' and you would set the guide lines and you would not be told what to do in congress'....ssshhhh!, that was a really dumb thing to say to tax payers, first off, who vote, who buy town halls for cities and offices for congress and all of that under the Dome owned by WE THE PEOPLE! By and large, us hoosiers are conservative...even Evan Bayh who just quit over a 'corrupt' senate and the congress as a (w)hole...was the leader of the moderate 'blue dog democrats'who preached fiscal responsibility. Trouble with Evan was that he was sincere and could see the drive toward socialism this congress is engineering for Barack Obama, and to his credit, could not stomach being part of it anymore.
Evan Bayh hated it when he had to be the 60th vote for Harry Reid such as when the Senate passed their version of Obamacare and when they just raised the debt ceiling by another 1.9 trillion....whatever the hell that number means besides Republic busting.... If Evan Bayh would exclude any support for the main plank of the democratic party-'abortion', then I would certainly tell Evan Bayh..."God bless you in your future endeavors". But for now, wish you would dedicate the rest of your time in the Senate to helping to right an overturned ship...

Bayh Provides a Warning to Us All
Good Morning my fellow Hoosiers.....surprise, surprise, surprise....Evan Bayh calls it quits. Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) has called it quits in an announcement yesterday, saying he will not seek re-election.
Senator Bayh has cited partisan bickering as setting an ugly atmosphere in which to conduct the nation's business.
I view this whole scenario has sort of a mixed blessing...a blessing in that I can redirect my efforts now away from working to ensure that Bayh does not get re-elected but not so much of a blessing when one considers the true reason why Evan Bayh has quit congress.
It was to be but a matter of time before decent men and women in the congress of the United States would awaken to what they see going on under President Obama, his czardom and his unholy agenda.
Evan Bayh is from middle America. Indiana is the most conservative among her regional neighbors such as Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio and Michigan and that color blue we wear today is because we wanted to give a black man an opportunity heretofore unavailable to a person of color.
Indiana voted for Barack Hussein Obama and Evan Bayh is certainly not the first to sound the alarm of what our socialist/progressive president has in mind for the Republic which was America. There is nothing special about us Hoosiers except perhaps we woke up alot faster than the rest of America. Hoosiers tend to be Christians...and as such they know to be gentle but wary. That wariness has served us well.
I give Evan Bayh the courage of his convictions and I will email him today and thank him for stepping down and also for holding those convictions in the face of an increasingly ugly legislature who have declared war on the sovereignty of the United States of America.
I fully expect a few more democrats to step down unless I am miscalculating the percentage of democratic representatives and senators that do have decent bones in their bodys.
Some will quit before they are thrown out and in fact others have already announced their intentions to do so but like I said, I do not believe this is the case with Evan Bayh.....who is a hoosier first.
With President Obama threatening to sign Executive Orders to, in essence, go around the elected congress of the United States like all other president's have done, Evan Bayh saw the filthiness of the President's intentions and simply......quit. And, I don't blame him.
We have been telling Evan Bayh and his democratic buddies in congress that President Obama was intentionally making them increasingly irrelevant. Obama and his buddies like Van Jones at the Apollo Alliance wrote the first Stimulus Bill for which Harry Reid thanked them profusely and ever since then have embarked on a path to ensure the downfall of America as superpower and really, to ensure that no one in America was any better off than people living in Indonesia or Kenya such as Obama's kinfolk.
Hoosiers will chew up and spit out the state's choice of democratic replacement for Evan Bayh....I will need to set aside my "bye, bye, Bayh' campaign for one that instead emphasizes the sell-out of America by other hoosier representatives like Baron Hill. These spend-a-thon democrats simply do not get it and do not want to get it as they tune out WE THE PEOPLE.
Anyway, God bless Evan Bayh in his future endeavors and damn all of those in congress who continue their agenda and chase good people from office. America, now is the time to stand up as we are losing our Republic.
Don't let that happen.

Global Warming Freezes by Daniel Greenfield
And when it is based on lies with the underlying purpose of installing a one world government, with Jeremiah, our own bullfrog president willing to tell us what he would do as "King of the World", then it is time for real American Patriots to wake up and beat these people back to the age of American self-reliance....drill, pump, dig that coal, keep those jobs and industries going in America.
New green industry jobs are already heading overseas and this is but a harbinger of what is to come as the world beats America into submission. Chinese villagers work far more cheaply making windmills than even the very least expensive American union.
And yet....the sheeple follow Obama....like them Obama kids singers say: 'mmm, mmm, mm'. While Obama convinces us it is smart to burn our nation's crops in his green vehicles and half the world starves and our electric rates skyrocket, perhaps you will get a sense of whom Obama truly is...let me know if you find out.

The Temperature at Which Global Warming Freezes

Wednesday afternoon, the sky over New York City was a falling sheet of white. Temperatures had dropped sharply and the blizzard was underway.
But nowhere in the city was the blizzard more pronounced than in Central Park, which had been designed in the 19th century to create a miniature forest in the heart of one of the biggest cities in the world. The trees were layered with coats of snow and visibility had vanished into a cloud of whiteness. And walking along a path in the Ramble, I heard a woman lecturing her children on the dangers of what else, but Global Warming.
There is a kind of madness to walking through a blizzard, while wearing a thick coat and picking the moment to discuss Global Warming. A theory according to which we should be sliding toward the tropics, awash in fleeing polar bears and Florida style temperatures, instead of frantically shoveling our driveways. Such an attitude has very little to do with science, and a great deal to do with faith. Because while the scientist sees what is and evaluates it based on the available evidence, the believer has faith in what he cannot see. And to see Global Warming while walking through a blizzard, is itself an act of faith.
Prior to this season’s unfortunate weather, Global Warming advocates had staked their bets on a mild winter in order to show people the pernicious effects of people driving to work and using extra shopping bags. Which was a decent enough angle, considering that we had been experiencing milder winters over the last few years. But the problem with betting that the weather will help prove your point, is that the weather may have other plans. And now digging out of a snowstorm and their own lies, Global Warming advocates are arguing that colder winters and snowstorms are actually another effect of global warming. Which may now need to be renamed, Global Temperatures We Don’t Like.
Had environmentalists hedged their bets by calling Global Warming something vaguely neutral like Global Temperature Imbalance, they would have had a much easier time covering their asses. Because temperature imbalances are a more subjective thing and the graphs are easier to fake. But Global Temperature Imbalance is much less entertainingly alarmist than Global Warming, and the environmentalists knew that they needed a name with some heft to frighten the public. Armageddon. Apocalypse. We think of destruction as a fiery event. And Global Warming was an environmentalist apocalypse, supposedly backed by science. No wonder it got as much traction as it did.
But it isn’t just the weather that’s turning on Global Warming, from Anglia to the IPCC, the scientific case for Global Warming is being undermined by revelations of fraud and malfeasance. And the political case for Cap and Trade is being undermined by the refusal of politicians and nations to cut their own throats so that Al Gore and George Soros can make a few billion selling “Right to Emit Carbon” certificates to every factory on the planet.
Walking through Central Park, it’s easy to see how perverse the modern day Environmentalist has become in his view of the relationship between man and nature. Central Park was inspired by one of the co-founders of the Republican party, newspaper editor, William Cullen Bryant, and co-created by Republican architect and landscape designer Frederick Olmsted, to harmonize the natural world and the urban one through human industry.
The New York Republicans of the 19th century viewed public parks as part of their civilizing mission. Central Park was created as part of an ongoing battle with the corrupt Democratic Tammany Hall machine, which wanted segregated slums and downtrodden workers who would rush to them as saviors and vote how they were told. By contrast Bryant and Olmsted saw parks as a way to improve human health, inspire public citizenship and build a strong republic.
While today’s environmentalists are fixated on holding back human development in order to maintain wetlands, banning DDT to save the mosquito and campaigning against agriculture to reduce population growth—the visionaries behind Central Park did not restrict human development for the sake of nature, instead they used human industry and the state of the art technology of the time to turn a decrepit site used for slaughterhouse refuse, swamps and shantytowns into a magnificent park that seems effortlessly natural.
The difference is in the emphasis. Environmentalists demonize most human industry and accomplishment, except the ineffective and efficient kind, as evil, because they are wedded to a black and white view of humanity and the environment as opposites. In their worldview, for the environment to prosper, humanity must go into decline. And when humanity prospers, they insist that the environment is in decline.
By contrast, Conservationists, who included the likes of President Theodore Roosevelt, valued the natural world for what human beings can learn about themselves from engaging with it. That was the philosophy behind Central Park, which to this day remains an elegant demonstration of human accomplishment as applied to the natural world.
Global Warming is an ideological weapon by the environmentalists against human industry and civilization. It is part of a broader anti-civilization agenda by the left, which values the natural world only because it sees it as a “primitive” antidote to the complexities of civilization. That romanticism goes back many centuries. It is the borrowed hostility of the nomad to the farmer (and it is very telling to look at Europe and see its intellectuals championing the virtues of the grandsons of Bedouin nomads over the grandsons of French and English farmers) taken up by bored intellectuals, arguing against the complexity of civilization and for the noble barbarism of the savage.
Where the Conservationist values the natural world because of its beneficial impact on the human spirit through cultivation and achievement, the Environmentalist only thinks he values the natural world, in reality he does not love nature, he only hates civilization. Where the Conservationist sought out the natural world for its civilizing effects, the Environmentalist seeks it out for its decivilizing effects. He does not want to be a better human being, but less of one.
Accordingly to the Conservationist, we needed to integrate the natural world into our lives in order to build a better civilization. The Environmentalist is not interested in building a better human civilization. His objective can only truly succeed if every human being, every building, factory, car and artifact vanished off the face of the earth tomorrow. Because his environmentalism is really a mask for his hostility to human civilization.
Central Park does not duplicate Manhattan before the arrival of the settlers, a trendy bit of landscaping that environmentalists are rather fond of. But then who besides environmentalists would fancy the idea of reverting Manhattan to a swamp bordered island with poor water sources and high rates of disease. Instead it creates something better, improving on the natural world, cultivating land into a transcendent statement that is more about man than nature.
Where Global Warming insists that everything humans do just makes the world worse, Central Park is a shining statement that says we make it better. The ideology of Global Warming’s only real message is, “Stop Doing Things We Don’t Approve Of”. Every ad is another parable about the evil of humans who clear cut forests, pour oil into the oceans and refuse to put things into clearly marked recycling containers. By contrast Central Park was meant to open up the natural world to human activities. The ideas of Olmsted about good citizenship and the natural world did not involve teaching people to leave the natural world alone, but to make it a part of our cities.
Environmentalists today sneer at this attitude, they view parks as patronizing to the environment and artificial human entities. They clamor against hunting and fishing. They agitate to restrict human access to national parks. They push Zero Population Growth and mandatory birth control. Their “Green”, like that of the Islamic Green, burns with hate for the Red, White and Blue. For human civilization.
But as with so many left wing ideologies, the public may go along with the propaganda, until they begin realizing the real world implications. Much of the public thinks Environmentalism is a good idea, because they think it’s ultimately meant to benefit them. And slowly they’re realizing that this is not the case. That Environmentalism is an ideology that champions the Supremacy of Nature, better known as the ecosystem covering the surface of the Earth, over man. Where Conservationism believed in the Supremacy of Man, and the utilization of the natural environment for mankind’s benefit, the environmentalist doesn’t give a damn about mankind’s benefit. Less so than he does about an endangered mollusk.
Walking through the blizzard, the trees wreathed in bridal veils of snow, I heard their voices in the distance, a distance that in the whiteness may have been only a dozen feet away. “The scientists say Global Warming is coming”, the mother said. “It’s too cold out for that,” answered the little girl.

What is the correct word to describe people who deliberately, publicly, and repeatedly use the “N” word when they refer to black people? There are such people. Are they sick? Are they mean? Are they stupid? Are they just full of hate?
How do you describe people who deliberately, publicly, and repeatedly call gay people “queers?” There are such people. Are they sick? Are they mean? Are they stupid? Are they just full of hate – or are they all of the above.
Obviously, people who insist on doing these things have no compassion or appreciation for people who are different from themselves. They have no tolerance. Most people condemn this behavior and find it appalling.
What is the correct word to describe people who deliberately, publicly, and repeatedly call the people who attend Tea Parties – “teabaggers”?
These people are called: Anderson Cooper (CNN); Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Dylan Ratigan, Rachel Maddow, Anna Marie Cox, Janeane Garofalo, (MSNBC); Bill Maher (HBO); ABC News; CBS News: Daily Kos; Huffington Post; and a host of other bloggers and TV personalities.
Preach tolerance – but practice hate
The people who deliberately, publicly, and repeatedly refer to Tea Party participants as “teabaggers” suffer from the same character flaw that makes people use the “N” word, and call gay people “queers.” The character flaw that would allow someone to tie a hangman’s noose on a tree in front of a black man’s house, or burn a cross on his front lawn is precisely the same flaw that allows a person to deliberately, publicly, and repeatedly call someone a “teabagger” when they know it to be untrue.
These are the same people who preach tolerance – but practice hate.
These are the same people who never missed an opportunity to denigrate and demean President Bush, but rush to label Obama protesters as hate-mongering redneck “teabaggers.”
By their deliberate, public, repetition of the term “teabaggers” in reference to the participants of Tea Party events, these people and institutions are condoning and perpetuating hate for those who hold a different political view. Moreover, their actions tell those who are influenced by them, that it is normal and right to belittle and demean the people who are not “politically correct” as defined by the “in” crowd.
It is sad to realize that this attitude is learned in school, particularly in many colleges and universities. David Horowitz was shouted down at Emory University by students who suffer this same character flaw. Representative Tom Tancredo met the same fate at the University of North Carolina. College kids have learned that it is perfectly normal and right to shout down, or deny the First Amendment to anyone who holds a political view different from their own.
Is it any wonder that when this crowd gets to Congress they think it is perfectly normal and right to shut out opposing views? Democrats routinely reject amendments offered by Republicans, often with no discussion or debate. On President Obama’s health care bill, Democrats refused to even let Republicans into the room when key portions of the bill were being negotiated. Then they have the audacity to call Republicans the party of “No.”
This is the kind of disingenuous political representation that makes ordinary people rise up.
Watch Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, or Barack Obama, make their pronouncements on TV. Then watch Keith Olbermann, Bill Maher, or Janeane Garofalo make their “teabagger” pronouncements on TV. There is a similar air of arrogant condescension; a symptom of the character flaw that allows people to use the “N” word, or call gay people “queers.”
Ordinary people put up with this hateful abuse for too long. When the arrogant, condescending congressional majority started dictating stimulus bills and bailouts by the bushel, the takeover of private businesses, Cap & Tax bills, and socialized medicine – they not only awakened and arose - they assembled in what are being called Tea Parties.
Ordinary people – moms, pops, grandmas and grandpas, students, black, white, gay and straight – ordinary people that the character-flawed progressives refer to as “teabaggers” – are now responding. They elected a Republican Governor in Virginia and in New Jersey – despite the personal campaigning of Barack Obama. They even elected a Republican Senator to the seat previously held by Ted Kennedy – despite the personal campaigning of Barack Obama.
These ordinary people are organizing from the precinct level to counties, to states and into national groups. They fully intend to reject the Washington majority’s plan to empower government far beyond its Constitutional limits in order to nationalize the economy and enslave individuals.
People who insist on calling these American patriots “teabaggers,” are, indeed, purveyors of hate.

Dan Coats Comeback Hits GOP Push Back
Fort Wayne's own Emery McClendon figured prominently in Coats' campaign inspired by the 'out of touch' national RNC, hitting a very visible roadblock. Hoosiers have suddenly, particularly since President Obama has seen fit to surround himself with a wide range of nasty lobbyists whose sole interest in the destruction of our American Republic, lost their taste for Washington's business as usual, no absolute truth perspective on reality.
Dan, you were out of politics...stay that way...go retire in North Carolina like you originally planned...don't sell that property to appease conservative voters who will not vote for you anyway....You could try to appeal to 'WE THE PEOPLE' in a really big reach out but we already have good candidates, Hoosiers with clean slates....America does not need more of the same.
Actually folks, Dan has been in politics as a lobbyist for foreign interests (India) to our government but hey, so is Birch Bayh, Evan's dad. Birch can boast Hugo Chavez and Venezuela as one of his customers...Nice, huh?

The recently announced Senate candidacy of Dan Coats, a prospect warmly embraced by national Republicans, is receiving a decidedly mixed reception back home where the former senator’s absence from Indiana has been noted.
From the moment word spread that Coats was planning a run against Democratic Sen. Evan Bayh, surprised numerous state Republican activists and local leaders greeted the news with something short of enthusiasm.
When Indiana Republican National Committeeman James Bopp, a prominent Coats supporter, sent a late-night e-mail to a string of party officials linking to a news story detailing Coats’s interest in the race, state committee member Barbara Knochel wrote back: “Please excuse my naivete, but why would Coats, who retired once, come back? What am I missing here?”
For some state and local Republicans, there is frustration caused by the perception that the Washington GOP establishment — particularly the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which helped to woo Coats and has played an active and public role in promoting and defending his candidacy — is intruding in Indiana politics. And the populist conservative grass roots in the tea party movement feels it most acutely.
One day after Coats announced his interest in the race, a Huntington, Ind., tea party group circulated an e-mail with the subject line, “NO to RNC/Coats for force feeding us this crap sandwich,” while Emery McClendon, a Tea Party organizer, has distributed an e-mail to activists declaring that the push for a Coats candidacy “is the Republican Party’s way of slapping we the people in the face ...”
A coalition of 10 state-based tea party groups, meanwhile, are set to launch the “Indiana Patriot Coalition,” which will be taking part in an e-mail and phone call campaign directed toward the Indiana Republican Party and the Republican National Committee, asking Washington to stay out of state races.
“We have our own state, we have our own candidates, and we have some darned good candidates,” said Mark Leyva, a tea party organizer who is involved with the effort.
For Indiana Republican Party leaders, who are aware of fierce anti-establishment backlash from grass-roots conservatives in states like Florida and Kentucky over NRSC involvement in contested primaries, the early warning flares from grass-roots conservatives have not gone unnoticed.
After Knochel’s e-mail to Bopp last week, state party officials on the message chain traded e-mails expressing concern over the grass-roots unrest, according to copies of the emails provided to POLITICO.
“They view it as Washington insiders disregarding the ‘voice of the people,’" Pete Miller, a state committee member, wrote in one note.

Corpse Men to the Left of me, 57 States to the Right
Okay, yeah right America, your American born president wants to have bi-partisan talks regarding his (psst: progressive agenda)...actually he does not want to have talks but appreciates the opportunity to provide talking points to his fellow 'progsocs', political ground cover if you will for those of his ilk up for re-election this fall.
Republican lawmakers need to get close enough to this beast to sniff it out for what it is..political theater. As you engage the president, republicans (and I am registered as one of you), and you do not agree up front to trash the versions of Obamacare that have already passed the house and senate, conservative voters this fall will have already painted a target on you too. Do not get close enough to this snake to get bitten by it and then try to pretend you were doing what the American people want.
Conservatives do not want any version of what has previously been voted on nor do we want to see the heinous provisions contained therein to be enacted on a piece meal basis with 51 democrat votes.
Hands off social security and medicare period. What you people in DC call entitlements, I call having been forced to pay into a progressive program establisted by socialists of the disgusting Wilson/Roosevelt era. Medicare has been around 44 years and I have been forced to pay in every year.
Progressives (pay attention republicans); counting my first full time working years ('64-'73)which were part of my active duty Marine Corps experience...do you remember what we doing back then...through December of 2008, I put in 44 full-time work years. I worked my way, admittedly with the help of the GI Bill, which is the only government handout I've ever taken, through an Associated of Applied Science degree in Bus.Mgt and later a bachelor's degree at IU/PU, Fort Wayne while again working full time.
When you progressives reach my full time work years, 44, then you too can consider retiring but you cannot count any time sitting on your butt in an ivy covered building, reading about Saul Alinsky and Karl Marx wherein the worst crisis you could encounter might be a paper cut. Some of you screw around in said places where history is being revised right before our very eyes well up into your 30s...don't you? You can retire around 75-80.
Those of you who rely on the progressives for your handouts...(welfare recipients)your social security retirement age will remain the same and your payment of course, will be a reflection of your contribution which I am sure the government is investing on our behalf at a good interest rate.....
People like John McCain's daughter and more than likely John McCain himself who obviously doesn't need his social security promised payments, who rail against the rest of us asserting ourselves regarding our rights....which is how we define entitlements....show their progressive stripes.
Megan McCain is a venomous little twenty something twit. And anyone in that age generation or in any other for that matter that things maybe we haven't worked long enough, hard enough, because now they do not want to live up to their obligations in our progressive social security/medicare system, they want to overthrow the system and those of us who now rely on it along with it.
Republicans and non-thinking youth out there....and of course John McCain, and your progressive ilk of either party need to pay attention to WE THE PEOPLE, and remember this much history at least....
A progressive democrat got us into Vietnam and another progressive democrat couldn't/wouldn't prosecute that never ending war and before we were done, 2.5 million of us had served. You only saw 58,000 of us die in Vietnam...far more than the zero I would have preferred on your behalf...because afterall you as a people quit...our 58,000 brave men and women died to no available and after we quit..another 2.5 million South Vietnamese civilians died....
Baby boomers, my generation, are retiring, I already have at the 75% level and in another 1.5 years I expect to fully retire at age 65. I personally have had enough of the workforce because now I need to spend my time fighting for the American Republic again......someone suggested that there is generational warfare going on with us on one side and the likes of McCain's daughter, and one of my own too, on the other side. If there is such a warfare going on, progressives should do their utmost to ensure that it never becomes violent because like I said...you only saw 58,000 of die in Vietnam....
My fellow patriots from Kentucky need to ensure that their man Mitch McConnel and Buckeyes need to ensure that John Boehner know to steer clear of Obama's filthy socialist agenda...like I said, get close enough to sniff it out and no closer.

Sign of the Cross
I feel the need to talk about a subject near and dear to my spirit today. It is regarding that cross...the one Jesus Christ died on and the one evident throughout our American Republic.
The U.S. flag, "Old Glory" reminds all Americans how we started, the bloodshed that was paid for the freedom to wave her wherever and whenever we wish in a free society. The freedom to trample her underfoot, sadly.
The cross, on the other hand, reminds the entire world that there is freedom found in no other name given among men, the name of Jesus Christ. Christians, and by that I mean, born again in the spirit Christians which is truly the only kind of Christian there is, find strength, hope and faith in that cross, the symbol of our righteousness.
And yet, and yet, people wear the sign of my salvation as bling. Musicians, artists, celebreties of all ilk as well as every day people wittingly or unwittingly blaspheme the sign of my cross. When you live like the devil people, and publicly identify yourself as a christian by wearing that cross, you bring disrespect to yourself and to that cross.
There is a battle being fought out as we speak for the rights of Patriots who have fought and died in our nation's wars to continually be remembered by the sign of the cross...the Supreme Court weighs these decisions even as we speak regarding a cross erected in the middle of the Mojave Desert, normally only seen by traveling from the Marine Corps base at 29 Palms, California to Las Vegas which some Marines due on weekends....that cross was erected by WWI vets for the vets of all wars and guess who is protesting...ACLU and all manner of limp wristed liberals.
For gangsta rappers, and other assorted punks and hoods to run around displaying the cross as bling is atrocious and offensive to me as a Christian...but even more offensive is the following...
Last night, I happened to catch a democratic congresswoman from California on Fox News...didn't really pay attention to her repititious ramblings of the democratic talking points for the day.....but couldn't help but notice that cross hanging around Loretta Sanchez's neck...
When a person is a democrat or votes as a democrat they embrace the party of death...the party of abortion. In the old testament of the bible, specifically in Leviticus, we learn alot about the old Jewish custom of sacrificing their children to the pagan god, Molech and God declared stoning deaths as appropriate for those who would sacrifice their children and for those who would stand by and say nothing...read about it yourself.
In the new testament, God sort of pretty much tells you that if you believe on his son, Jesus Christ, then indeed Loretta Sanchez etal., your body is not your own at all to do with as you please....."What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
Thank you St. Paul for giving us those spirit-filled words in 1st Corinthians 6:19-20. I am pretty sure it is time for people of God to stand up and say so...while those lukewarm, will be left laying as 'wheat chaff' in the fields not fit to be harvested.
Before you think that I am a catholic because I used the term St. Paul, I must tell you that I am not but I do know some catholics who are actually born again and therefore Christians...even charismatic and pentecostal...amazing, huh?
In summary...Christians are not violent and we do not react like our muslim brothers in the world who take the slightest offense whenever someone displays depictions of Mohammed, as in Denmark.
In the spirit of diversity, in the spirit of getting along with one another, can you keep from wearing a cross around your neck if you are not a christian...honestly it is a slap in the face to believers.
The U.S. flag, "Old Glory" reminds all Americans how we started, the bloodshed that was paid for the freedom to wave her wherever and whenever we wish in a free society. The freedom to trample her underfoot, sadly.
The cross, on the other hand, reminds the entire world that there is freedom found in no other name given among men, the name of Jesus Christ. Christians, and by that I mean, born again in the spirit Christians which is truly the only kind of Christian there is, find strength, hope and faith in that cross, the symbol of our righteousness.
And yet, and yet, people wear the sign of my salvation as bling. Musicians, artists, celebreties of all ilk as well as every day people wittingly or unwittingly blaspheme the sign of my cross. When you live like the devil people, and publicly identify yourself as a christian by wearing that cross, you bring disrespect to yourself and to that cross.
There is a battle being fought out as we speak for the rights of Patriots who have fought and died in our nation's wars to continually be remembered by the sign of the cross...the Supreme Court weighs these decisions even as we speak regarding a cross erected in the middle of the Mojave Desert, normally only seen by traveling from the Marine Corps base at 29 Palms, California to Las Vegas which some Marines due on weekends....that cross was erected by WWI vets for the vets of all wars and guess who is protesting...ACLU and all manner of limp wristed liberals.
For gangsta rappers, and other assorted punks and hoods to run around displaying the cross as bling is atrocious and offensive to me as a Christian...but even more offensive is the following...
Last night, I happened to catch a democratic congresswoman from California on Fox News...didn't really pay attention to her repititious ramblings of the democratic talking points for the day.....but couldn't help but notice that cross hanging around Loretta Sanchez's neck...
When a person is a democrat or votes as a democrat they embrace the party of death...the party of abortion. In the old testament of the bible, specifically in Leviticus, we learn alot about the old Jewish custom of sacrificing their children to the pagan god, Molech and God declared stoning deaths as appropriate for those who would sacrifice their children and for those who would stand by and say nothing...read about it yourself.

Bad, Bad, Decision, Ahmadinejad!
February 11, 2010...31st anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution. What is it about this date that will also go down in infamy? Will it be the brutality, beating and mayhem inflicted by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his crazy goon squads on the protesting citizens of Iran?
That is already expected to take place and I feel certain that Ahmadinejad promised something more spectacular for our viewing tastes.
We know that Ahmadinejad has issued the call to his Islamic followers worldwide to stand up and be counted as the 12th Imam, that ol' Al Mahdi, comes to lead Iran to glorious victory over the infidels in Israel and the United States. We also know that what he is calling for is prophetic and found in the Judeo/Christian bible with the exception that Jesus will not be accompanying this nasty piece of work and like standing by with approving glances, like the goofy Islamists think....
As a matter of fact after Ahmadinejad, gives it his best shot, I am pretty sure the good Lord is going to lead a revolution of His own to ensure that all the birds in Megiddo valley are well fed on that day.
People...now more than ever....Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and that God will deliver his people Israel, once again.

Obama, Cry Uncle and the Snow Will Stop
President Obama...all you have to do is fall on your knees and ask God's forgiveness for the arrogance you display when you think you can control God's climate.
As president of a once mighty and free people, you need to understand the onus of a spiritual stewardship you find foisted upon you by God. By God, I mean the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and not some muslim creation of apostate proportions.
As citizens of this nation and as Christians, we have a spiritual responsibility to pray for those appointed in authority over us. I have done my part and yet I have this feeling that my prayers come back unanswered. I have this sense that your chosen path is counter to the path God would have you lead on. Particularly in regards to our former ally, Israel.
I know that those who bless Israel will be blessed of God and those cursing Israel will be likewise cursed of God...and yet you continue down this path wherein you shake your fist at Israel and demand that they split the land the good Lord has covenanted to Israel alone.
Did you know, Mr. President...that Israel is the only people in the whole world to hold the title deed to land from God? Your efforts in splitting Israel, like the snowflakes on Washington DC will only result in our country being split in half, from west to east.
I want you to be a leader who is not afraid to admit that he bends a knee to a sovereign God in prayer seeking strength and guidance. I would that you could be that sort of leader but I hold little hope for you as I have seen into your dark, muslim, jihadist heart.
So for now, calamities will continue, they will increase in volume and severity....just like a woman in labor moments before the birth of that miracle. East coast progressives buried in snow and west coast progressives slipping down those muddy hill sides....
You know the source of these calamities Mr. President. Did the boys in the hood mention the little shaking they took in Chicago yesterday? Are you quaking in your boots yet?
Oh yeah, quit the goofy cap & trade legislation...I mean come on Mr. President, by now everyone knows your pet scientists are all liars as shown in the recent and even ongoing climategate....No one is buying so please, you stop the snow jobs and maybe God will too.

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of.
In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!"
The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed."
And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he fore swore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are.
But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?"
You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president.
You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"?
In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian."
Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson's intent with that statement?
Or, wait a minute . Were your ideas about America's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that " America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that " America has been arrogant"?
Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be "considered a Muslim nation"?
Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"?
Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers.
Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran ? Even in Egypt ? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"?
It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected.. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize.
Could it be you are a president without a country?
