As the healthbill winds its way through Harry Reids ugly hands, Kosciusko County is bracing for the assault. Area manufacturers of medical devices will be taxed out of business and grandma, forget that new hip...you can't afford it.
Warsaw and Pierceton area orthopedic manufacturers such as Zimmer, Bio-Met, DePuy and Paragon Medical will be ravaged by onerous taxes both in device sales and in new taxes on benefits they either supply or do not supply to their employees. I imagine these supply excellent benefits to their employees soon to hit the pavement, to the point that they will be considered cadillac plans and taxed heavily.
Fort Wayne is stuck between Elkhart and Warsaw, watching these communities open more and more soup kitchens.
Thanks Mr. President for the excellent results of that stimulus bill...hope you can sleep nights.
Real unemployment is 10.2% and climbing for those needing real jobs.
