Veterans Day, 2009

Hey Fort Wayne, this is the day the Lord has made, resolve to rejoice and be glad in it.

This veteran is increasingly grateful to today's men and women in uniform defending us against our enemies abroad. My arena was Vietnam and that was a different animal altogether from this war against radical Islam.

Yes America we are at war with Islam and the best way we can honor our troops on this day is to remember the families of those fallen, pray for those standing, and resolve to stay vigilant yourself in the face of this insidious enemy.

President Obama told these us yesterday that Major Hasan, the terrorist, will find no solace in this world or the one to come. True enough but suggesting he was a misguided soul acting alone is also a disservice to the American public because some of us realize that suicide bombers/shooters always act and die alone. Duh? This one was lukewarm, meaning Hasan, he woke up...be careful as Armadinejad has issued the call for jihad as he summons forth his Al Mahdi (the anti-christ). Others will awaken. Hell there are many wide awake as I speak.

Veterans and non-veteran citizens alike can stand proud, vigilant and yet non-violently, defending the freedoms that made our country strong, once. We can resolve to fight the fight here at home, not just against the political correctness that allows Islam to pose a danger to all of us but also against a government that seeks to limit our individual freedoms in direct violation of our constitution and bill of rights.

Honor your brave military today, stand up here at home and tell President Obama, no thanks for his industry busting, job killing health care bills, cap and trade crap and most certainly make sure he knows we want none of his visit to COP 15 in Copenhagen on Pearl Harbor Day....we know his intention is to sink the USS America.

As a former 9 year Marine and two tour veteran of the Vietnam War, honor me by standing next to me in this battle on our homefront. Tell the likes of Bill Clinton that we didn't want his garbage when he was in office and we still do not want his garbage....period.

Make sure Bayh and Lugar know this very clearly from you. Bayh is up for reelection this next year and he needs to be boosted out. No more riding on Birch's coattails...regardless of what Sylvia Smith tells you, Bayh will have you standing in a soup line when Warsaw and Pierceton orthopedic manufacturers start shedding jobs too because of the health care bill taxes. Oh those are effective as of 2009 while any purported real benefit of the health bill will not be available to citizens for another 4 years...got to pay for this thing on our backs first.

Lugar still has five years and I want the honor of escorting that one out of our white house in DC. You do know that we own that dome, don't you?
