Be Born Again in the Spirit

'But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.""

Mike Huckabee Attacked by Washington Post

Charles Lane, a writer for that weird Washington Post writers group thought he could entertain us with his version of the the killing of 4 police officers in Washington state by a deranged murderer that should have been put to death as a 17 year old.  By that age, people know right from wrong and if they do not then they will probably never learn as their priorities are elsewhere.

Lane essentially blames then Arkansas Governor,  Mike Huckabee for the fact that Maurice Clemmons was out of jail and able to commit this horrendous crime after Huckabee commuted the guys original sentence from 108 years down to 47 which made him eligible to go in front of the parole board...after having served 23 years for that crime.

Today, it is ironic that this is an issue even as the liberals in the country are pushing to ensure that no under the age of 18 is punished for non-murder crimes to life in prison without parole...which 108 years pretty much ensured for Clemmons.....

The irony comes in when the same liberals try to blame Governor Huckabee for commuting Clemmons sentence which to Huckabee, and I heard him admit all of this, was reviewed 100% by him, not advisors, and that there were on an average of 1200 cases per year in Arkansas.

Huckabee commuted his sentence, then the parole board apparently thought he was rehabilitated and paroled him....while on parole, Clemmons has been charged with 8 more felonies in Washington state including a rape of a 12 year old girl in his home.  One judge issued a parole amount which meant someone had to pay just $15,000.00 to spring him loose and they did just that.  Another judge had to approve the bail amount and conditions and he did......lot of blame to go around, I'd say and the least culpable is Pastor Mike Huckabee....he is the only one to admit his role in the matter and had he been advised otherwise by the parole board, Clemmons would still be sitting in jail instead of dead today.

It is funny to watch libs try to talk out of both sides of their thin lipped mouths....they tend to spittle all over themselves....did you see Eric Holder stuttering again....just too much, too funny.

Nice try Charles but apparently you are no brighter than that E.J. Dionne or Eugene Robinson.  Where do they dig you guys up anyway?
