I hardly know where to begin...the Environmental Protection Agency wishes to join forces with our nation's churches in order to offer them all the money they may need to make their building's 'green'. Absolutely nothing comes from the government without strings attached so what is it that Obama and the weird progressives in his cabinet, administration and in our congress expect in return. Beyond that, where is the Amerikan Communist Lovers Union (ACLU) and their never ceasing fight for their view of what the separation of church and state? Sort of makes one believe they are in sync with all of this....as if we all don't already know this.
Ah yes, it is that social justice....that social gospel thing that people like Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry has asked bishops, cardinals, priests and pastors to preach from the pulpit. Such a nice sounding message, you want to help the downtrodden and destitute in our country, don't you? You want to save mother earth now, don't you?
Listen people, all this garbage is about Obama trying to gain support for his cap and trade legislation, now entitled the "American Power Act". This is still the one where all the lying peer reviewed scientists have either confessed or proven false in their allegations that global warming is not taking place (as we are indeed almost into double digits now on cooling years....)so back to Climate Change and if it was, that man does not contribute to this....it is a solar thing. Breathe easy people.
The big deal is that Obama and his Chicago Climate Exchange anticipates really, really big paydays when we are all forced to deal in trading wisps of smoke, clouds and smoking mirrors.
What I do not like about all of this besides the obvious socialism/communism thing which is what takes place when that legislation is passed, Obama goes on to sign the UN Habitat Agenda Treaty in Cancun this fall, and we all fall under additional onerous rules and regulations that tell us how many times we can flush our toilets daily.....among many other things such as no big screen hi-def tvs (speaking of Hi-Def...can someone suggest to Henry Waxman that he not let cameras zoom in on him during press conferences...man, I know more about what is up his nostrils than he does), no downlighting on art work...like I can afford artwork that I want to illuminate anyway, oh yeah, and better get that hook up in your garage to charge your electric cars if you ever expect to sell your house. And still so much more including busting fossil fuel industries, more small businesses and American (see I do know how to spell it) jobs.
I would like to say, right now, and if anyone can ensure that Jim Wallis, Obama's spiritual advisor sees this, I would appreciate it, that individual giving cannot be mandated and should not be mandated. It is not scriptural and the only giving that will benefit you is that which your heart directs you to give. It is kind of like you going to church when you were a kid, because your parent's made you because their parents made them and for no other reason. You gain nothing.
I would also like to ask Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and Pastors to steer as far away from this government attempt at taking over the nation's religions as they possibly can. Some are already sold out such as the United Church of Christ and many parishes within the catholic religion etal.
I will give you argueably the most definitive description of the true gospel of Jesus as follows:
I will convey to you the story of Nicodemus found in the gospel book of John. Nicodemus, was a Pharisee and a ruler of the Jews back when Jesus walked the earth the first time. He came to Jesus by night (because he didn't want the other pharisees to see him) and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:2-3
"Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is everyone that is born of the Spirit." John 3:4-8

John 3:9-21.
That, people, is the gospel of Jesus Christ and I will tell it again exactly as I used to tell it when I knocked on doors in my little 'city of churches', Fort Wayne, Indiana, asking if I might share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I laugh today, but sadly remember, one woman who responded with....I don't need that, I am a Catholic.
The apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans gives us the gospel in a nutshell...easy to read, easy to understand and powerful unto your own salvation: "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Romans 10:8-10.
Before you people do anything else, do this...repent, confess Jesus with your mouth (do not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ) and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and you are saved. You can tell me you did that and perhaps fool me...but this is between you and God and he reads hearts.
Now, back to the cockroaches who scurry when the light of truth is shined on them. Jim Wallis has never been born again, Barack Hussein Obama, your muslim president, has never been born again; Nancy Pelosi has never been born again; John Kerry has never been born again, Joseph Lieberman has never been born again but if he lives until Christ returns, that Jew will fall on his face and accept Jesus as his Messiah right then and there. People say we have a huge Christian population and yet the vast majority of all who consider themselves Christian have never been born again and are indeed condemned to death. That is why the gate to heaven can be "strait and narrow, as few ever find it." I sense your confusion having just told you that no one could read hearts, I have then told you I could read the hearts of Wallis, Obama, Pelosi, Kerry and Lieberman.
Once you are properly armed with your salvation, you can go back to your local churches, see which ones are propagating this false social gospel of coveting what we have earned and wishing to steal it to give away to those who have not and to many who would never seek to earn it themselves. When you hear this from the pulpit...you are charged with standing up, saying "BULLCRAP" (or perhaps something more Christian sounding), turning your back on that heathen altar, kicking the dust from your seats and leaving the rest of the dead men's bones sitting in the pews as you exit. As a new born Christian, when you give from the heart and especially if you give of your own need like that little old lady (who gave the 'widow's mite), you will then be blessed of God and have no need of a high five from the likes of Obama.
Sorry if this was not strong enough....but after all, I have been born again, and am a Christian...and I will tell you that I was born again over 32 years ago in a full gospel church called Reality Gospel Church in northern Virginia where I spent my last four Marine Corps years. Today, I am a member of, though I rarely attend, shamefully, of Fort Wayne's First Assembly of God. In that place, at every service, every time the doors are open, you will hear the pastors calling people to give their hearts to Christ. Anyplace you do not hear that, leave. That church has had to move twice to bigger buildings as it keeps busting out at the seams. Today, for the first time in history, people calling themselves Christian are non-affiliated in greater numbers daily, seemingly, I hear revival is among the bride of Jesus and there is still quite an attraction to babes in Christ, me too, those of us who are hungering for the truth now more than ever and have found the Word of God, his Holy Bible...written over, don't quote me, over 60 years by 44 different authors....all in sync, old to new testaments, the foretelling and the fulfilling of prophesy, and from author to author....all in sync.
I stumbled upon this from George Washington's 'Farewell Address': "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens....Let it simply be asked, where the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are instruments of investigation in courts of justice?"
I normally never tell anyone which church I favor as I do not ever wish to take away from the gospel message, the real gospel message...it cannot be about church buildings or religions...people, individuals can be saved, not buildings, religions nor nations.
God bless all who read this through and heed the words of a fervent man....I hear his prayers (that fervent man of God) avails much. ...get right with Jesus he grants miracles...sometimes he has performed miracles and people have believed but attribute their loyalty elsewhere when we know "There is but one God and one intermediate between God and men, the man, Christ Jesus." 1st Timothy 2:5 ....look at doubting "Thomas", who mumbled something like "....unless I see his face, unless I put my hand in his side, I will not believe...and of course you remember, blessed are those who believe and have not seen."
This, I suppose, is long enough to be tiresome so I will close with a loving hint...find a gospel preaching church, the gospel of salvation through belief in Jesus Christ wherein you hear the call '....with every head bowed and every eye closed, is there anyone willing to hear Jesus knocking on the doors to their hearts, if so raise your hand". I can almost recite this by heart and I do remember, like I said earlier, when I heard and finally felt, that rap at the door to my heart. Ephesians, chapter 6 will keep you safe as it describes your armour including that helmet of 'salvation.' It girts your loins with the Word of truth, it keeps your heart safe with that breastplate of righteousness;" ...the believers righteousness is imputed from Jesus as we believe that he bought and paid the price as the "Lamb of God" of his people, the believers...and why not you?.....do it while that time of revival is upon us. ...be sure your feet are shod with the gospel of "truth"....share what you recieve as it is a word on to the eternal life of people you care about and love. Fathers ought not to damn their own 'beyond the point of knowledge' without knowing and sharing the truth with them. We have a moral obligation to protect our children and not feed them to that evil God, Molech. What is wrong with you men? Lest I forget and most importantly, the greatest of your armour is your 'shield' of faith...able to quench the firey darts of the wicked.
At the end of the time of the gentile, where all who will believe, do believe that Daniels' 490th week of years will begin...and the time of the rapture, (hour, and day known but to God the Father), is near at hand. Near enough for you to understand that in bible prophesy, there is really not enough time for another reset. Israel, is almost a generation old, bible scholars (blessed with discernment given by the Holy Spirit who indwells believers), know this and are saying so....listen to what Jesus is saying to the church.
One more thing...still in Espesians 6....do not forget your weapon. It the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Jesus was not violent and as usual, we can not be either. When God says, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay", why would anyone wish to take that out of His hands? I will not lose my soul for some revived Rome but my voice, is every man's voice and it will never be silenced....by heaven I decree this to be so.
