Pray Without Ceasing

As we approach the 2010 National Day of Prayer (1st Thursday in May), it should be noted that around the world and now particularly in America, those who would pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are under assault.  Now, particularly in America, I suspect that has a lot to do with the fact that America has seen fit to elect a muslim as president and he is of course, an apostate.

Islamophobe....you say I am?  Naw, Islamopragmatic is more like it.  There are only two types of people in the whole wide world, believers in Jesus Christ and the salvation found only in the blood he shed on Calvary's cross and those who do not believe.  Believers are on their way to eternal life while non-believers are 'condemned already'.  Violence, hatred and fear are the hallmark of the bastard children of Abraham and Ishmael but if any of these are to be saved it is because born again in the Spirit Christians are praying for them.

I pray for Faisal Shahzad who was just arrested for trying to set off that car bomb in Times Square and of course, I pray for that goofy New York City mayor, Michael Bloomberg, who at first blush suggested that the perpretrator could very well be some old tea party guy, like me, who has great disdain for Obama and his health care bill and like policies and agendas, also, like me.   Michael, Michael, Michael....don't you feel a little foolish right now as we discover that we were blessed of God one more time, not to have an Islamic terrorist create havoc on our soil...blessed because God had good people in the right place at the right time.

Phobia...means fear as in homophobe etc.  I do not fear sinners, I pray without ceasing for them and that includes not just your ordinary run of the mill sinners such as gays/lesbians, abortionists, fornicators, adulterers (and Michele is really pissed at Barack right now), and the like but also includes the more hideous type like Islamists who reject the Lordship of Jesus Christ and would use violence to convert you into their way of thinking or to end your life if you don't.

Fear....naw, Jesus told us who we should fear: "But I will forwarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him."  Luke 12:5. 

I pray for all men, Hindi, Maoists, atheistis, mystics, Buddhists....all of these types who would worship God's creation in lieu of the Creator himself.  I pray for you and I pray for me that I may walk steadfastly in God's word not turning to the right or left but rather staying on that narrow path, that few ever find, that leads to eternal life.

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.  For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even publicans do so?  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."  Matthew 5:43-48.

Is it any wonder then, that  our response to the hatred and evil which is Islam, needs to be prayerfully considered and rendered in love?  Gentle but wary is the Christian who would walk upright in front of the Lord or as Glenn Beck tells us, who may or may not be a Christian (I cannot read hearts, I leave this to God): Do not be racist!  Do not be violent!  And certainly, do not be silent anymore!

America, and indeed the world, is in the time of the great separating.....the wheat from the chaff, the oil from the olive and the wine from the grapes only come with violent shaking or pressing and so will the goats be separated from the sheep who hear the Master's voice.

Finally, pray for the misguided souls of light in the loafer types who would restrict Americans right to express their faith as guaranteed by our Constitution.  "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

That 1st Amendment to our Constituion is pretty plain and simple english and seemingly unpervertable, and yet, atheists, communists, progressives, social justice religionists all would strive to convince you that you lack understanding of our Founder's intentions. 

Do not be fooled and do not be bowed to this presidency, America's last.  Last because President Obama apparently thinks he needs to be the one to separate God's land, Israel, and to give part to the edomites that surround her today.

Most of all, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee."  Psalm 122:6.  As you go about your prayerful days, keep this in mind also:  "Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy  father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:  And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."  Genesis 12:1-3.

I want the blessings of God for America and I encourage all who read this to pray for President Obama, who at least once has said he is a christian, that he gain an understanding  of God's own words and instead of damning Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel that he instead falls on his knees and petitions God to bless Israel and then would follow up his prayers with faithfilled actions.
