"Cast a Stone....."

Come now and let us reason together.   "Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.  And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.  And the scribes and the Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.  Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned; but what sayest thou?  This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him, But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.  So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among  you, let him first cast a stone at her.  And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.  And when they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last; and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.  When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?  She said, No man, Lord and Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee; go, and sin no more."  John 8:1-11

This is the personage of Jesus Christ.  This is what America, a Judeo-Christian country has been founded on.  We are an imperfect people.  We are sinners and as it is written "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory that is God", we have come to accept one another, with all of our warts.  We know "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."  1 John 1:9-10. 

Why America, would anyone of you now consider bowing to Sharia Law, the law of Islam wherein stonings for adultery, homosexuality and fornication are required by Muslim clerics?  We have come a long way in the 234 years of our American history to now capitulate to an enemy who listens to the whisperings of Satan himself.  We know who are enemies are and the hatred of God's people that beats in their very hearts...hearts of stone, which still,   cannot be sufficient to justify retaliation.  We know that "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12. 

Jesus is writing their sins in the dirt in front of their very eyes and the last time I checked, He has also told us that "vengeance is his and that he would repay."  My prayers are that you understand that, even as that huge crowd was peaceful on the anniversary of Martin Luther Kings' "I have a dream" speech last Saturday in front of the Lincoln Memorial, that you also remain likewise. 

People in our government, in the President's own cabinet and of course throughout the main stream media are awash under the influence of principalities and evil powers and of the evil rulers of the darkness of this world and yet, they are the ones feeling threatened.  George Soros with his money and President Obama with his evil guile cannot bring them peace...cannot even assure them a good night's rest.

I have a great peace about me today and I pray the same for you.  Know that God is still in charge and as we "go and sin no more", we are a forgiven people and those casting sticks and stones cannot harm us.  I have heard it said this past week that we are under the commandment to not kill which absolutely means we should not murder anyone nor seek to harm them and we are to be gentle and wary even as our enemies surround us and hesitate not to defend yourselves and your families.  Be a people of faith, hope and charity and God's love, his agape kind of love, will see us through these tumultuous times even if the other end of this is indeed the appearing of a New Jerusalem.  Be aware of the prelude to the peace talks commencing this week between the PLO and Israel at the whitehouse this week....Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and bless Israel as much as it is in your power.  Jesus is indeed writing on the ground in front of President Obama too.

I doubt that President Obama will heed what Jesus is writing but our position is to pray that he does and if not, then your prayers will serve to 'heap coals of fire' upon his head.
