The weather channel televised an hour long show the other night entitled, 2011, the Year of the Tornado. Arguably, America witnessed some historical, in number, outbreaks as well as severe devastation in many places but in particular and first in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and then in Joplin, Missouri.
I posted a blog on January 13, 2011 entitled 'Ampin' It and Rampin' It Up in 2011' which I did simply because I believe there is a 'season for everything under the sun', 2011 has been in the season of increasing weather/geophysical events to begin rampin up in 2011 which as Jesus so eloquently put it, compares to a pregnant woman and the fact that as her due date approaches the labor pains become more frequent and...more severe. Last March, tornadoes weren't much of a threat to Japan but it was that 8.9 earthquake followed by that massive tsunami that has wreaked chaos in that place. Haiti was likewise revisited in 2011. Texans saw some tornadoes in 2011 but a large part of their state was under continuing drought conditions from 2010 with wild fires burning forestland and homes. Who was affected by that flooding of that pesky Mississippi River...not Quincy, Illinois which was saved when civil engineers blew up a dike and flooded Missouri farmland instead...and so much more of the same down river. Water, water everywhere...ask those on the east coast, particularly up in New England...from Pennyslvania to Maine. Irene was a drencher. Blizzards last winter included a couple doozies in various parts of the country and so much more. Most of you can add to the list of signficant events in 2011 across our globe. Are these judgments from God? I, personally, do not think so as they are happening as signs exactly as Jesus told His disciples to believers to 'look up, because your redemption draweth nigh'. Judgement is ahead, beginning with the Christian departure from this orb.
What about 2012? What is in store for the globe? In spiritual terms, 2011 was a harbinger of things to come. Those typical seasonal storms...tornadoes, hurricanes, etc...expect frequency and acuteness to continue as Jesus tarries and as He brings revival to His church... his bride, if you will. We know that in the last days, evil will abound but that grace will abound still more and that revival as foretold by the prophet Joel is coming to the land. The church is being shaken out of a 'luke warm' state, in some cases, and have been praying in accordance with II Chronicles 7:14... Christians have indeed been praying for the land. And yet, there are seasons for everything including a season in which we see the end of the age of the 'gentile'.
At Christmas 2010, I asked 'What if?' What if Christians departed this orb which would then allow the anti-Christ to be revealed and that missing week of years as the prophet Daniel describes can begin with perhaps the revived Oslo Accord of 1993 which has been designed as a seven year pact. Some folks call that missing week of years the tribulation period, and so does God. We are still here and will be as long as Jesus tarries but that does not preclude us from sharing John the Revelators opinion of matters when he says in the second last verse of the bible, "Even so, Come Lord Jesus!"

I am not foolish enough to claim an hour or date to our departure as this is 'known only to the Father' as Jesus tells us. Christians are to know the season even as Jesus explains the signs just before the end to his disciples...signs that could not apply to any other age until now. The biggest one being what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu describes as fulfillment of Ezekiel, chapter 36 with the Jew returning to the home land...never to be forced from it again. This he proclaimed fulfilled two years ago by now.
If the Christian is taken up in 2012, or 2013 or even 2014, the significance is that the sooner the Christian leaves, the less they themselves will experience in terms of the forthcoming tribulation period which actually begins with that peace treaty signing mentioned above. Will the Christian see Isaiah 17:1 fulfilled? That could certainly happen. In that verse, the city of Damascus (Syria), a 5,000 year old city, never before destroyed in history, is prophesied to be turned into a 'ruinous heap' overnight. We know Damascus to be the home headquarters for both Hamas and Hezbollah. We know Assad of Syria is joined at the hip with Iran. We know the Russia, China, Iran, U.S. and Israel all have warships in the region and ready to go. Israel alone has over 200 nuclear tipped war heads including a number on such underwater beasts as the one they Leviathon, a nuclear sub with 7 tubes.
Ezekiel 38 & 39 war is what we know as Armageddon. While we know Ezekiel 36 is fulfilled with Israel back in the land covenanted to her (except Palestinians have the West Bank and Gaza) mostly....since 1967 and the 6 Day War, she also has control of her entire capital of Jerusalem. This is all true and this is important to the Christian because this is where Jesus said that when this takes place, Israel back home again, that the nation alive then will not pass before he returns. Israel was reborn in May, 1948 and that generation which is my generation is getting old.
Yet, Armageddon cannot take place until there is a peace treaty declared as scripture describes Israel at that time as a place of 'unwalled villages' and she is not that today. Plus, the anti-Christ is the one who establishes that peace treaty and that cannot happen until the Christian is 'raptured' after which the anti-Christ can be revealed. Don't be confused by the many types of anti-christs throughout history...as there were many including the likes of Hitler, Amin, Pol Pot, Stalin, Mussolini, Lenin, Mao, Che Guevara...you name it or just refer them as legion, as indeed, there were/are many. For the record, all of these dictators sought the disarmament of their citizenry before beginning to murder them. Think about this as you watch President Obama's so called 'gun control' measures.
Picture this...Israel lauching a nuclear strike against Damascus and then as we see in verses 12-14 of Isaiah, chapter 17, and I quote, "Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noises of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of might waters! The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters; but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind".
Barack Obama, Putin, Assad, Chinese Communists and Arab edomites alike run like little girls.....'like a rolling thing before the whirlwind'. Okay, this sort of eventuality will lead to many nations wishing to now make a peace deal earnestly, with Israel particularly as they read the prophets final warning in Isaiah 17:14...."And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. (so much for that, 'burden of Damascus'). This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us."
Barack Hussein Obama promised the Palestinians over a year ago that they would have their home land, that he would see to the splitting of Israel by this past September. Barack broke his promise to them and in this they should not feel any different than the rest of us to whom he has broken promises. This broken promise...this desire by Obama to play nice to garner Jewish votes in November will be advanced and taken care of on the 1st Wednesday in November assuming Obama gets re-elected.
God watches us...often, he simply watches us making fools of ourselves...but he always, always, always, sees to his promises and it is Israel and not America, that houses his covenanted people and it is Israel which if cursed, God curses the cursers...It is Israel if blessed, God blesses the blessers....and it is Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, for which we are to pray for her and her peace. Because this is true...as God watches, events, scripture fulfillments regarding Israel, will take place in order as the world continues to turn their respective backs on Israel and seeks to separate her.... Whether we knew it or not at the time...America turned her back on Israel when we elected President Obama to lead us in the world. Obama is just playing a role as the good book indeed tells us that 'all the nations of the world' would come against Israel...it does not say, except the United States of America. We are hardly her anymore, anyway.
Man made atrocities like the agi-bot props Obama/Soros/Van Jones/SEIU etal control in their attempt to foster class warfare in America in so called Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protests will continue to create escalating confrontations in 2012 with the lame stream media supporting them....trying to pretend that there is some sort of a grass roots movement involved. Protestors are some dupes, angry without knowing who to be angry at. Mad at issues without having solutions to offer up. We see signs from Socialist Parties, from Communist Parties, to people whining and wanting free medicare and college educations for everyone....and we all see them just going as assigned to disrupt political processes like the Iowa caucuses which have served America well for over 200 years. We see these people decrying capitalism without understanding that it is capitalism which affords them the clothes on their back as they waste our time and our public spaces with their non-critical biases.
I do not believe that President Obama will act on his threat to those listed as 'domestic extremists' by his goofy Head of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano until the same time Obama feels comfortable with trashing Israel which will be on the 1st Wednesday of Next November. Thanks to the likes of losers like Senator John McCain and Carl Levin who added an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act which affords the president the opportunity to name his enemies and then use our military to detain and lock us up without a trial until such as time as he, Obama, determines that the conflict is drawn to a close. Supposedly this was designed to be used against Islamic terroists who might be citizens but awake citizens know that it is but a matter of time before he begins naming those who threaten his czardom as threats to the state.
The Army is expected to lose 100,000 members while my fellow Marines will decrease in number by some 25,000. I still cannot imagine the remaining soldiers/Marines being sufficiently loyal to their commander in chief to shed American blood on American soil and yet that is exactly what will take place if Obama is re-elected. It is also quite telling, that just two days ago, amid the silence of the lame stream media, that Janet Napolitano called for the formation of a civilian police force. All should remember in President Obama's early days, when he called for a civilian army better funded than our military. Do you think, this is a way Obama can buy the loyalty required to act against patriotic, American citizens? I do!.... or as they say... in my humble opinion.
In my opinion, President Obama is a globalist, one whose price of admission to the world stage is a broken down American Republic. I believe... with every step Obama takes he is doing just that and yet as dangerous as he is, he is still but just a bit player in the grand scheme of things. He will play his role as influenced to do so by the likes of George Soros and other globalists....oh yeah, and of course as influenced by the evil minions found in Ephesians, chapter 6... All should watch Israel... Christians should watch the eastern sky.....
Those things that took place in 2011 will begin again in 2012....in season... so as not to awaken those desiring to stay blissfully engaged in sin or as the Apostle Paul puts it "The mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed (after Christians and their indwelling Holy Spirit are taken up and the anti-Christ revealed), whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved, and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." II Thessalonians 2:7-12.
So yes, Expect 2012 to bring more of the same as we saw in 2011 with folks declaring 'the worst of' as harshness and frequency will increase. Expect more from the sun, the moon and the stars in 2012. Scientists have already been calling for increased solar flare activity from the sun (which is our weather maker- for all you Al Gore goons out there). One of these, misplaced, could easily fry some electrical grids in our country and around the world this spring and summer. Red moons, black suns...sounds like volcanoes may be getting ready to rear their ugly heads also.
For the Christian, these are but wake up calls. If you are lukewarm, you had better return to your 'first love'. Churches...you can't save anyone, anyway so you had better amp up the true gospel message of Jesus Christ...the one where He dies for our sins, we accept his atoning grace and follow his teachings thereafter...this is how we are born again....believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess him with your mouth as Saviour as 'it is with the heart that man believes unto righteousness and it is with the mouth that confession is made unto salvation'. Quit that message of political correctness suggesting that all manner of sinners are just all right with God...all can be saved and that includes everyone from the homosexual to the Muslim but it all begins with accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior....
Expect that message to be deemed intolerant in 2012 and watch as the animosity, hatred and virulent activity increases against American Christians. They are murdering Christians by the boatload in places like Egypt and Libya today...Nigeria too... Hey, they persecuted and murdered Christ, didn't they?
Christians can take it. We know we are not to fear those who can only kill the body but rather to fear him who can kill the body and the soul. Those aforementioned cannot be saved unless they hear the word and that means the Christian cannot be stifled. So therein lies the coflict as we obey the Great Commission.
Like the good books tells you...when you begin to see these things come to pass, look up, for your redemption draweth nigh.
